The House of Tormented Souls in Bentonia, Mississippi, continued the haunt season with Twisted Carnival on Saturday October 12, 2024.

Twisted Carnival, known for its spine-chilling attractions and side-show freaks, terrorized some of the House of Tormented Souls haunt actresses.

OzBo, LoSho, EnGa, and Ricky chased two of the haunt actresses back into the haunted house. They locked themselves into a bathroom prompting the Twisted Carnival characters to terrorize them to try to get them out.

After several attempts, the owner of the haunted house was able to get the littlest one out. Later on, another actress escaped leaving her friend behind to be by herself.

After several more attempts by Twisted Carnival to get her out of the bathroom, the actress finally escapes.

Twisted Carnival catches back up with them and notices that they had done locked themselves in a vehicle.

Wasting no time, the Twisted Carnival team quickly set up their iconic tent, booth, and a series of carnival-themed games designed to keep visitors on edge. The haunting experience was enhanced by a variety of unique and terrifying characters, each adding to the evening’s eerie charm.

Amanda Hamil played a pivotal role in helping other haunt members get into their bone-chilling costumes. Among the characters making a debut was Enga, a new addition to the twisted family and the twin sister of the notorious LoSho. Enga was soon followed by a cast of familiar but equally terrifying faces, including SaDue, the mysterious Ringmaster, the menacing Akain, and LoSho herself.

The terror wasn’t just reserved for the visitors—some of the House of Tormented Souls’ own actors found themselves spooked by the eerie atmosphere and the presence of these haunting figures. The night was filled with screams, laughter, and a palpable sense of dread as the carnival worked its dark magic on all who attended.

Teenagers flocked to the Twisted Carnival’s popular games like “Spin the Wheel” and “Throw a Dart at a Body Part,” with many brave souls walking away as prize winners. Victors not only took home eerie prizes but also had the unique opportunity to pose with the coveted Twisted Carnival Championship belt, making for a memorable photo op.
