Mississippi Urban Legends with Gene
On October 24, 2024, Gene Hamil from Twisted Carnival joined Jourdan Derouen and Brad Jay on the Jourdan Derouen podcast to delve into paranormal phenomena and Mississippi urban legends. They explored tales like the Witch of Yazoo, Little Boy Blue, Bonnie and Clyde, and Stucky’s Bridge. Mid-discussion, a beer can unexpectedly exploded next to Jourdan, startling him and causing him to feel a bit unwell, so he stepped out for a moment. During his absence, Brad Jay took over the conversation. Toward the end of the episode, Gene showcased an original 1928 first edition of Hammer of the Witch and read its opening paragraph. Excitingly, the trio is also planning a live podcast at a haunted location in the near future.
